Summary

Directs, supports and supervises the manufacturing engineering team (process engineering, automation and controls, and industrial engineering) in support of operations as well as in the development of the various manufacturing processes of the company. Instructs the team with a culture and a continuous improvement approach by aiming for ‘’best in class’’ goals.

Key responsibilities and tasks

• In collaboration with the Spectra Head Office team, oversees the installation and start-up of process equipment, the installation of workstations and associated documentation (layout, process flow, PFMEA, control plan, instructions working, etc.);
• Sets the objectives and priorities of the manufacturing engineering department. Defines and maintains the performance indicators of his/her department;
• Ensures the necessary and competent resources are in place in order to support production operations on all shifts;
• Analyzes manufacturing processes and evaluates opportunities for improvement (reduction of non-added value, reduction of waste, improvement of resource utilization, reduction of cycle times, efficiency of machines % OEE, etc.) with an APQP approach;
• Leads and manages improvement and expansion projects. Develops plans, creates timelines and communicates them to the organization, coordinates activities and executes them, ensures the effective use of human and material resources to achieve the set objectives;
• Drafts the specifications and participates in the decision of contracts for the purchase of equipment and technical services (contractors);
• Participates in the development of project quoting activities;
• Keeps abreast of the latest technologies associated with our industry;
• Plans and manages the department's budget;
• Works towards continuous improvement;
• Regularly reviews and maintains processes affecting the manufacturing engineering department (equipment development, validation of manufacturing processes, etc.);
• Recruits staff and ensures professional development in appropriate areas. Maintains the skills grid;
• Evaluates the performance of its staff and monitors objectives on a regular and rigorous basis.

Summary of Qualifications

• Manufacturing processes associated with the processing of metal products (stamping and thin sheet welding, automated assembly);
• Data acquisition system;
• Design for Manufacturing (impact on component design and GD & T);
• Continuous assembly line design (bottleneck, constraint theory, etc.);
• Problem solving methods (8D, 6 Sigma, Shainin Red X, etc.);
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) development process;
• Swedish laws and regulations on occupational health and safety;
• Standards ISO 14011, IATF16949;
• MS Office softwares (Excel, Project and Word) and AutoCAD;
• Bilingual; English and Swedish (oral and written).

Om rollen

Vi behöver nu utöka med ytterligare ett skift och som Operatör/Montör kommer du att arbeta inom produktionen i vår nya fabrik i Trollhättan. Arbetet innebär laddning av Robotceller för Punktsvetsning/Lödning/Sömsvetsning samt montering av komponenter i våra rostfria bränsletankar. Ditt arbete utförs enligt arbetsinstruktioner och du arbetar i mindre arbetslag som roterar. Vi kommer rekrytera personal till både 2-skift och nattskift.

Kvalifikationer

Vi söker dig som vill bidra med mycket energi, som vill utvecklas och som trivs i att arbeta i ett högt tempo. Har du erfarenhet inom tillverkningsindustrin som Montör/Operatör eller likvärdigt arbete där standardiserat arbete förekommer är det mycket meriterande.

Om rollen

Supporterar avdelningen för Purchasing and Supply Chain med materialplanering och hantering av inkommande och avgående gods. Du rapporterar till Purchasing/Supply chain Director. De viktigaste arbetsuppgifterna är

• Administrera inköpsordrar
• Leveransbevakning
• Uppföljning av leverantörers rating
• Anskaffning av förnödenheter och material
• Budgetuppföljning
• I samarbete med Logistic Supervisor, säkerställa att vi erhåller direktmaterial enligt planerade avrop
• Daglig bokning av leveranser till VCC via Inet & WEB-EDI

Kvalifikationer

Utbildning på högskola eller universitet med inriktning ekonomi/inköp eller som bedöms likvärdigt. Goda kunskaper i engelska i både tal och skrift. Ytterligare språk är en merit.
