The account manager is the key commercial interface between the customer and the project team to
ensure proper service levels are maintained. The role includes managing ongoing commercial
relationships as well as achieving sales, budget, and margin targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support quoting activities.
Acquire working knowledge of the product being quoted.
Monitor program activities as they affect price, cost, and timing.
Negotiate and manage implementation of ongoing contract changes.
Represent the company in scheduled meetings.
Convey the voice of the customer to the project teams.
Maintain and expand customer relations in order to achieve and improve company target objectives.
Consult with management to improve ongoing strategy for improved results.
Position is based in Livonia, Michigan. Incumbent will be responsible for North America territory.
A business degree or equivalent combination of experience and relevant education is required. Engineering degree and technical experience are an asset.
Minimum of 7 years of account management, interfacing with one or more automotive OEMs. Fuel System technical interface experience is an asset.
Strong business development and negotiation skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple programs and customers.
This function consists of planning, organising and controlling the department’s operations in a way to maintain optimal effiency. The person holding this position backs his teams’ work in the execution of their tasks and is called upon to manage specific activities such as health and security projects, training, environment and continuous improvement.
Main Responsabilities and Tasks
Manage the personnel’s work priorities.

Verify and complete the time sheets.
Authorize any overtime, when needed.

Manage and follow all files related to work related accidents.
Manage and resolve any conflicts within the team.

Provide help to employees in problematic situations.
See that the workplace is kept clean.
Manage the maintenance and availability of the working equipment.
Make sure that all rules and procedures are respected.
Perform employee performance review.
Follow the productivity and the quality of work of employees during the shift.
